We are all saddened to hear of the loss of renowned stunt pilot Greg Poe. On Sunday July, 24 Greg Poe suffered an apparent heart attach near his hometown of Boisie, Idaho. Our condolences go out to his family, team and friends.
Not only will Greg’s performance be missed in the Fargo AirSho, but also his contribution of to local youth in our community. Greg was slated to arrive in Fargo on Aug. 8 and make presentations to local youths about the dangers of drug addiction. Poe had created the “Elevate Your Life” program after losing his son to drug addiction in 2002.
Greg Poe Airshows issued a statement that it intends to continue operations in both the airshow arena and the Ryan J. Poe Foundation, and will be making decisions toward achieving that goal in the near future.
