Kent Pietsch Airshows

Kent Pietsch fell in love with flying when he was four years old, his passion has not waned since. Growing up in Minot, North Dakota, every day after school, Kent would find a way to get to the airport, and do whatever it took to get into an airplane.

Since 1973, Kent has performed his incredible aerobatic routines for millions of people at more than 400 shows that have taken him to quality venues throughout the United States.

A harmonious blend of aviator, educator, and sky-high comedian, Kent has been enchanting air show audiences worldwide for decades.

His shows are a testament to his expertise, featuring aerobatic stunts that truly push the limits – from intentionally losing airplane parts, engines that quit in mid-flight and gravity-defying landings on runways mounted on moving vehicles.

When Kent isn’t thrilling air show audiences around the country, he pursues his other passion of aviation restoration in his own maintenance hangar in Burlington, ND. Along with his ATP and commercial pilot licenses, Kent also holds an Airframe and Power Plant Mechanic license. Essentially, he knows planes inside and out.
